Site Update

Just to keep everyone informed, the official Amplified Minds site is undergoing a few changes, but it will be back up and running in a month. In the meantime, I'll be posting a few updates here on the blog.

At first I wanted to keep the features and other content I've been working on for the site, but it's a little bit too time sensitive to hold on to and I want to try to stay as current as I can.

I have a few artist I've been exposed to and I'll be sharing in upcoming posts. I get really excited when I stumble upon new artists (not necessarily new, but new to me) and music. So who have you guys been listening too?

RIP TEDDY PENDERGRASS...

Legendary soul/r&b singer, Teddy Pendergrass passed away Wednesday at the age of 59, after a long battle with colon cancer. It's no question that Teddy leaves behind a myriad of classics that both myself and generations before me have enjoyed for years.

Alicia Keys is absolutely gorgeous in this snippet, and while I love of some of her previous work, can't say this song moves me. I'm not a huge fan of teasers, especially when the teaser itself poses no excitement. For me, the only artist to successfully pull off an interesting one is Mr. West with "Flashing Lights".
