I FEEL U ADELE

Although her cd was released the summer of '08, I'm listening to it like it's brand new. Happy to say that it's a new addition to my vast collection of albums, Adele has captivated me with her soulful voice, a sound she likes to call "heartbroken soul". I love it. Not quiet as dark as Amy Winehouse and not as poppish as Duffy, but right in between. Her lyrics are so powerful and I love her rhymthic style, but if you don't listen closely, you just might tangled up in her web of words. Her album, 19, has some of the radio friendly hits like, "Chasing Pavements" and "Make You Feel My Love". But "First Love", "Hometown Glory", and "Right as Rain" are in constant rotation on my iPod. This UK soulful songbird has just the right ingredients for longevity and success, talent and truth.

Take a listen..

"First Love"

"Hometown Glory"
